ABOUT

Named after the famous Hareshaw Linn waterfall this is our more modern property, the bungalow is located within close proximity to Bellingham town with a selection of local shops including a bakers, butchers and fruit and veg shop. Hareshaw House is ideally situated for anyone looking to explore what Northumberland has to offer. The home is only 10 miles away form the spectacular Kielder water and forest, great for walking or cycling around the 26mile reservoir. Whilst Hexham is 17 miles away you can find supermarkets, independent shops, a large variety of takeaways, restaurants and local pubs. 

 

If you are heading out for the day your only 25 minute drive from Hadrians Wall, you can find the famous roman forts of housesteads and vindolanda. The Sycamore Gap Tree or Robin Hood Tree is a sycamore tree standing next to Hadrian's Wall near Crag Lough in Northumberland. It is located in a dramatic dip in the landscape and is a popular photographic as it is the most photographed tree in England. 

LAYOUT

  • The home offers a large living / dining space whether relaxing on the corner sofa infront of the smart TV with the electric fire on. If your sitting at the 6 seater dining table you can look out of the patio doors onto the enclosed garden.  

  • The master bedroom is warm and cosy with a large double bed overlooking the rear garden. It has a flat screen TV and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. (Sleeps 2)

  • Our second bedroom is a modern Scandinavian design with a double bed and dark green featured walls, with views over the quiet street this room has a flat screen TV, drawers and a clothes hanging rail. (Sleeps 2)

  • The third and final bedroom is a comfortable double room with a flat screen TV this is a smaller room overlook the front garden.

  • The kitchen is spacious and modern with a small breakfast bar in the centre. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for your stay and has lots of cupboard space. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided as well as well as a coffee machine. The kitchen also has access to the garage with a small kitchenette and a spacious areas to play on the ping pong table. 

  • The property has a front lawn and access to the rear of the home which has a private patio area with outdoor furniture. 

  • For parking we have a driveway to fit one vehicle at the front of the house there is space for other cars to park. 

NEIGHBOURHOOD

Nestled in the countryside, Bellingham is a perfect holiday destination for any family with a vehicle to get to all the local hotposts. Whilst Bellingham is a small town is has everything you may require for your stay however the small village of Wark is only 10 minute drive away if you are looking to try out a different local pub.

TRANSPORT

We would advise travelling by car to get to this property so you can visit what Northumberland has to offer. The '680' bus routes will take you around the neighboring villages to get into Hexham town centre.
