The Bird of Prey Centre
The Birds Of Prey Centre is located within the magnificent lakeside surroundings of Kielder Water at Leaplish Waterside Park, Northumberland. The Centre contains one of the largest & most fascinating collections of Birds Of Prey in the North of England.
Farne Islands Nature Reserve
Lying off the north-east coast of England, the Farne Islands form a National Nature Reserve owned by the National Trust, famous for breeding seabirds and terns in particular. There are ten larger islands and numerous smaller reefs and rocks. Vegetation is sparse on some of the islands, others have thick grass with Silverweed, Brambles and Thrift.
The Faren Islands ature Reserve has Seals, puffins and over 100,000 seabirds make the Farne Islands their home each year.
Dilston Physic Garden
This is a dedicated enterprise exploring and educating on the science of plants for health and medicine. Public, groups, schools and universities all visit us to learn about the health benefits and the efficacious medicines from plants, also to visit the unique tranquil space that Dilston has become.
This physic garden also conducts research, carrying out clinical trials into safe plant medicine focussed on enhancing the mind, to improve memory and sleep and has close links with universitiesand other institutions such as Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
Howick Hall Gardens
Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum, the ancestral seat of the Earls Grey since 1319. Discover the history of the 2nd Earl, after whom the famous tea is named, wander through the beautiful gardens created by the 5th Earl Grey and his family or for the more energetic explore the arboretum a united nations of shrubs and trees covering over 65 acres.

Falconry days
Falconry Days are a professional falconry business that trains and flies around 70 Birds of Prey, whjere the welfare of the birds come first. They aren't classed as a zoo as they don’t keep their birds in a cage. They are an activity centre with fully trained, working Birds of Prey which are managed and flown in rotation on a daily basis, both on and off site.
